Reporting directly to the President of our family-owned company, herself an accomplished saleswoman, the Sales Representative will have complete responsibility for driving sales in his or her defined territory.
Responsible for all business development activities from lead generation through close in the Hudson Valley, Upstate New York and Western New England the Sales Representative will develop and implement an agreed-upon Sales Plan which will achieve both the business goal of expanding our base of profitable business, and your professional objectives. The Sales Representative will work with Snyder Printer’s sales and support personnel for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. This will include:
Working with management to establish selling strategies and tactics that result in new account generation. Scheduling and completing weekly cold calls, networking and other prospecting activities. Achieve annual sales targets and average revenue quotas on a consistent basis. Analyze prospective customers’ needs and meet those needs via proposals, negotiations and business contracts. Entry of sales tracking data for tracking and analysis. Provide accurate information for estimating and production. Show continual professional development in industry, sales ability and time management.
The right candidate for this job will have a background that includes: Self-starter with ability to manage time and meet deadlines Proven success developing a market for B2B services (3 or more years) Outgoing, engaging, sales-motivated personality Willing and able to travel daily within defined territory Experience in printing is a plus but not required Any experience with marketing is a plus Organized with strong communication skills Computer-literate and capable in MS Office and internet/email Clean drug test and driving record
